What is an ankle-foot orthosis? What functions does it have?
The basic role of ankle-foot orthoses is divided into three aspects
1. Compensate for partial muscle weakness.
2. Stretch the tendon for a long time to fight against the contracture of the muscle.
3. Fix the normal function of the joint to avoid the relaxation of the ligament after being stretched abnormally.
It is indicated in nine categories:
